The Telfair County School District is honored to announce that Telfair County Elementary School has been named a Reward School for 2017 by the Georgia Department of Education. TCES was named a Reward School in the Highest-Progress School category. Highest-Progress Schools are among the top 10 percent of the state’s Title I schools in making the most progress in improving the performance of the “all students” group over three years (2013 – 2015) on statewide assessments. TCES was one of only four schools in our entire RESA district to achieve this impressive distinction. We would like to congratulate our administrators, faculty members, staff members, community supporters, and, of course, students for this outstanding achievement. Thanks to each of you for your unwavering commitment to the “Pursuit of Excellence.”
