The Georgia Department of Education released 2020 graduation rates to the public this week. The Telfair County School District is pleased to announce that Telfair County High School posted a 93.4% 4-year graduation rate for 2020. This is up from 91.4% in 2019. The state graduation rate for 2020 is 83.8%. Congratulations to our dedicated students, faculty, staff, and administrators at each of our schools on this outstanding achievement!

The Telfair County High School baseball field has been named the 2020 Class A-Public Field of the Year by the Georgia Dugout Club. We appreciate everyone who supports Trojan baseball, but we especially want to thank Coach Thor Ott and Griff Mizell. Telfair County Schools Tiny Trojans student Seneca Whitehead made headlines recently when he joined the Trojan Regiment drumline on the sidelines of the football field. His mother, Tabithia Whitehead, posted a video of his performance on Facebook and the post quickly went viral.
